Engagement Manager

As an Engagement Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead TopRight engagement teams as we seek to help our clients achieve a competitive advantage within their chosen market. Throughout your TopRight career you will leverage and deepen your exposure to a variety of different industries and functional areas, which include, but are not limited to retail, consumer products, life sciences, financial services, and hospitality on issues such as marketing strategy, growth generation, sales effectiveness, organizational design, marketing operations and return on marketing investment.

Engagement Manager's at TopRight take a leadership role in all aspects of an engagement including program management, personnel management, performance management, issue resolution and risk mitigation. The full breadth of our Engagement Manager's skills are utilized as they seek to successfully execute the following work activities: finding creative solutions to complex business problems, identifying and resolving issues, marketing and selling TopRight service offerings, developing new TopRight intellectual property, developing detailed project plans, synthesizing conclusions into recommendations, developing and delivering presentations, and serving as a catalyst for change. In addition, you will be expected to play an instrumental role in mentoring and coaching the more junior members of the TopRight consulting team.

Typically, our engagements usually last between 6 to 12 weeks. As an Engagement Manager, you will most likely be assigned to one engagement at a time although it is expected that you could comfortably manage multiple work streams simultaneously.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have 12+ years of business experience
  • Have a combination of marketing line experience and consulting services experience
  • Have a strong commitment to excellence, and personal and professional growth
  • Have a strong record of leadership in successfully growing a specific area for which they were responsible
  • Exhibit strong business development skills and the ability to source and manage $750K - $1.0 million of business per year
  • Commitment to a high standard of quality in all work product
  • Comfort in holding others accountable for results
  • Exhibit the ability to build and leverage personal business networks
  • Enjoy leading, facilitating and developing large teams
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills that lend themselves to program management and issue resolution
